The Storm in Our Lives 2

Brothers and sisters, what is the storm in your life? Our Lord Jesus will never be too tired to still that storm. Do we truly trust Jesus? Have you called to Him? Asked Him? Seek Him? Knock on His Door? Prayed to Him?

“Jesus got into the boat and His disciples followed Him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat, but Jesus was fast asleep. The disciples woke Him up, saying, “Lord, save us! We are going to drown!”  He replied, you of little faith, why are you so afraid? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? even the winds and the waves obey Him!” Hallelujah! (Matthew 8:23-27).

Can we truly relate to the disciples that said Jesus, do you not care that we are perishing? As children of God, are we prepared for storms that are facing us today? There is no more trust between brothers and sisters, In-laws, friends, and most husbands and wives.

I dislike Turbulence while flying, speeding cars, and boats, but I must pray and always trust the Lord because challenges will come my way and must have faith. When one is verbally or physically abused, to whom do we turn? Because verbal abuse turns to emotional, and it is extremely painful.

What is the storm in your life? Is it children? Your husband? Your wife? Business? Financial? Job? Family? Friends? Trusted ones?

Do we have enough faith? Have we truly called on our Loving Jesus that cares so much for us that He carried the heavy cross, suffered, bruised body, nailed on the cross whilst still alive? He is ever willing to still the raging storms in our lives. Jesus will sometimes bring storms in our lives to strengthen us, to build a character in us, and transforms us, but we must have faith and trust, and love Him.

You might wonder, where is God in all these, the danger will pass away. Have faith because you may see the Lord in the storm you are going through. He is in every storm.

I have a testimony regarding a very painful storm/s I went through, and still going through. This is to encourage a sister/s who are going through similar situation/s.

Shortly after I moved to Texas, I found out my husband was having an affair, and in the midst of that, I was verbally abused because I serve the Lord. OHH why me? Why not him? One of my sons was also very sick, and I wept for almost two years because of my son, but the Lord revealed some witches and a giant in this storm who is like a sexual spirit. I was really abused and tormented. I wept and complained, my heart was broken, I was muted, blinded, and felt weak, but after the Lord told me to ignore him, I suddenly saw the light and wept. Jesus then came and healed my broken heart, filled me with courage and boldness, but it is still difficult sometimes. My son is healed and works for Microsoft as an engineer. (my testimony). God showed me how he will be healed, our Father is in every storm. Praise the Lord.

The Lord gave me Psalm 46:7 “The Lord of Host is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.” (Our high Strong hold, a safe place, deliverer, protection, our shield). So, to my sisters and brothers who are going through storms. Jesus is in the storm with you, so please cling to Him.

Brothers and sisters, Jesus can calm every storm. So, give yourselves to the Lord, just like the Monks, the Nuns, the Priests, and the disciples like Peter, James and John who left all and followed Jesus.

Please remember Jesus gave Himself for you and me. Is Jesus calling you? Are you willing to accept His call?

The Scripture that comes to mind as I type this message is “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and heal their land.”(2 Chronicles 7:14). We must pray.

Jesus will never abandon us, He will always heal us, deliver, and heal our land. But we must humble ourselves and pray. He who carried the cross for our sakes, Whose body was bruised, and flesh torn apart, has bought us back at a “High Price” (1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Corinthians 7:23) from Satan’s territory, says we are His responsibility, and His own.

Brothers and sisters, we must also do good, help those in need, and look out for one another, not only for ourselves.

Lord Jesus Son of the Most High God, please have mercy upon us, mankind. Amen!

Please pray for the Church and world peace.
