Brothers and sisters, please yield yourselves completely to the Lord, daily yield yourselves to Him, the One Who paid a “High Price” on our behalf.
Allow the old man that is in you to be sacrificed on the alter continually, for it is the one place Satan can not touch you. When the devil realizes you are aligning yourself with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as well as the angelic host, Satan can not prevail in your life. He cannot win when you die to self.
Scripture tells us, “The Lord is God, and He has made His light shine on us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar.” (Psalm 118:27). (NIV).
Please surrender the old man to be crucified on the cross daily (dying to self/the old man) Apostle Paul said, “I face death every day.” (1 Corinthians 15:31) to be transformed into a new self.
“For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.” (Romans 6:6) Why are we still slaves to sin?
Why do we still lie? Why do we still hate our brothers and sisters?
Why do we still have a jealous feeling? Anger, pride, condescending ways?
Evil thoughts? Evil desires? Lust? and much more.
Please let the old man be crucified and follow Jesus to the cross in total surrender.
The Book of Galatians 5:16 tells us to “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Please walk in the Spirit, to quench the lust of the flesh and focus on Jesus. “You are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17) Old things must pass away brothers and sisters.
What have you been able to let go regarding your character?
-Have you been able to let go of pride?
-Have you been able to let go of verbal abuse? Physical abuse?
-lies? Condescending ways? Gossiping? Anger?
-Question, what have you been able to let go?
Dying to your own ambitions, dreams, and desires. Please allow Jesus to take over, for He is the Door, the Way and He knows what is best for you and me, it takes place in the spiritual realm-spiritual transformation.
Spiritually, we must offer the old man to be crucified, then we will no longer be slaves to sin.
We must allow the Lord to “Open our eyes and turn us from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that we may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in God.” (Acts 26:18) (NIV).
Brothers and sisters, “we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9) (NIV). We are a priced possession of the Lord. Much loved, God’s beloved children.
“What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Romans 6:1-4) (NIV).
A new sin free live, daily surrendering to the Lord. I am not saying it is easy, but the Holy Spirit will help you and I if we only ask.
Brothers and sisters, the way to heaven is very narrow, but the way to hell is extremely broad. Please take the narrow way and cling unto Jesus. Pour your heart to Him, for He is our loving Father.
