Brothers and sisters, Scriptures tells us to be slow to anger. As a servant of God, I am not allowed to be angry or yell at my children because it is demonic, and it will affect my ministry. I have learned to be filled with God’s love, to rest in God when I feel angry, and to always pray for a heart of peace and love. Please be patient with one another, and always have a heart of forgiveness.
Scriptures tells us “Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.” (Proverbs 17:27) and “whoever keeps his mouth, and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.” (Proverbs 21:23).
Yes, brothers and sisters, people will always offend you, but how do you react? Please practice calm spirit and gentle in heart. “Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.” Proverbs 14:29 because a hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention.” (Proverbs 15:18).
Please do not go to bed angry, resolve the situation so as not to offend our Lord Jesus. The bible says, “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.” (Ephesians 4:26). “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body, and be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15). Amen.
Are you able to overlook an offense? Walk away? “Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.” (Proverbs 19:11).
Brethren, please practice self-control because “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” (Proverbs 25:28)
“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” (James 1:19-20) (NIV). Jesus is always willing to help if you ask. He is there to aid us, to fill us with His peace, love, joy, and gladness. These are some of the benefits one can get if you love the Lord with all your heart.
Hallelujah!
