Love The Lord

God is our first true love, brothers and sisters, you love your earthly fathers, why not your heavenly Father who created you and all things, the God who dwells in heaven and earth. “A Very God and a Very God, Intimate God, but distance.” (A Scholar, Pascal).

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4). What are the desires of your heart? Is it your marriage? Your children? Are you sick? Is it your parents? Sleepless night? Your business? Please “Pour your heart to Him,” Psalms 62:8, for He listens. Also commit your way to the Lord and wait patiently for Him, He shall bring it to pass. (Psalm 37:4). God will surely bring it to pass, for He is a very Faithful God. A promise Keeper.

Our Lord Jesus advises us to “love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind.” (Matthew 22:37) This is one of the greatest commandments. Are you able to love the Lord with all your heart? And delight in Him? He longs to have fellowship with us, please give Him a chance. Turn away from your old ways and return to your Father who love you dearly, He loves enough to carry the cross, loves us enough to die on the cross, loves us enough to buy us back from Satan’s territory at a very “high price.” (1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Corinthians 7:23).

If you delight in God, He will give you the desires of your heart.

“He will cause you to inherit wealth.” (Proverbs 8:21)

He will give you a merry heart, sweet sleep, joy, peace, and gladness. His word never goes void. “You will prosper.” (Psalm 122:6).

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all our iniquities, who heals all our diseases, who redeems our lives from destruction,
Who crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies our mouth with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:1-5). God’s unconditional love to His Children, unfailing love that is so great.

Sweet, Sweet, Precious Father. Amen!
