Lust of The Flesh.

The Book of Galatians 5:16-17 states that “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the LORD, please walk as children of Light.” Ephesians 5:8)

Please brothers and sisters, put off anger, lies, gossip, fornication, idolatry, and put on tender mercies, kindness, meekness, patience, humility, respect for one another, and forgiving one another. Colossians 3:5,8,12).

As humans, we have inherited good and bad characteristics from generational parents, so the saying is, “it is human nature” but if we walk in the Spirit, we will think and act differently than others because we are a “new Creation, old things have passed away and behold all things have become new.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17)

We can also overcome temptation/evil by doing good, and situations will be resolved in a positive way, which gives one joy and gladness instead of sorrow, but in-order to walk in the Spirit, one need to first receive the Spirit.  I am talking about the Holy Spirit, walking in the Spirit means to be obedient to the Spirit, fellowship with the Spirit, and commune with the Spirit.

When one walks in The Spirit, Anger and sadness will not linger in all situations because one automatically develops the fruits of the Spirit according to the book of Galatians 5:22. (Love, Joy, Peace, Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, Self-control, Faithfulness, and Patience.

Please also show kindness towards one another tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as GOD in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32) For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

The Book of Romans 13:14 also indicates that we “Put on the LORD Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”

Put on Our LORD Jesus Christ:

-And love like Jesus,

-Forgive like Jesus,

-Be kind like Jesus,

-Be compassionate just like Jesus,

-Do good just like Jesus,

-Be merciful and caring just like Jesus.

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” Galatians 3:27)

Hallelujah!!
